Altenar upgrades tennis vertical with Sportradar TDI data
Sportsbook supplier Altenar has enhanced its tennis offering through a data integration with Sportradar, adding new in-play markets for ATP and Challenger Tour events.
Altenar has announced an upgrade to its sportsbook’s tennis vertical, incorporating official TDI data via a strategic tie-up with Sportradar.
The update, launched on 26 February 2025, brings live data from ATP and Challenger Tour matches into Altenar’s platform, expanding the number of in-play betting opportunities available to operators and introducing new micro markets.
Micro markets and data depth
By drawing on Sportradar’s AI capabilities and TDI’s tennis data, Altenar says it can now process hundreds of thousands of data points per match, widening the range of betting options on offer.
Among the additions are micro markets that let bettors wager on immediate outcomes within a match, such as the next serve, break points, or the total number of shots in a point. Altenar notes that this type of market has already gained traction in football and major US sports, and expects similar engagement levels in tennis.
Rationale
Altenar said the move reflects its broader strategy of sourcing data from official rights holders to strengthen its sportsbook product, with the aim of improving operator retention and revenue.
Antonis Karakousis, Director of Operations at Altenar, said the tennis data integration represented an important step in the company’s growth plans, adding that it would allow operators to offer distinctive betting options with low latency.
Altenar, founded in 2011, provides turnkey sportsbook solutions and positions itself as a partner-focused supplier within the iGaming sector.
