Bahrain Turf Club signs multi-year data deal with TPD

Total Performance Data (TPD), a horse racing live data provider, has confirmed the Bahrain Turf Club as its newest client under a multi-year agreement. The partnership will begin with the start of the new Bahrain racing season in November 2024.

The deal extends TPD’s presence in the Middle East, where it already operates at Saudi Arabian racecourses and Meydan.

Live timing and race-day graphics

Under the agreement, TPD will provide live and post-race timing statistics for every horse competing at the Bahrain Turf Club, along with live running order graphics displayed on the track’s big screen and other racecourse screens for spectators.

The two organisations also plan to develop data-driven marketing content throughout the season, using TPD’s performance metrics to engage racegoers and social media audiences, targeting both new and existing fans.

New season details

The Bahrain racing season starts on Friday, 1 November and runs weekly until April. Key fixtures include the $1,000,000 Bahrain International Trophy (Group 2) on 15 November, the Crown Prince’s Cup (Listed) in late January, and the King’s Cup (Listed) in March. The Bahrain Turf Series returns for a fourth year, now worth a total of $1,000,000 following the addition of two $100,000 handicap races.
