BGaming rolls out festive edition of Wild Moon Thieves slot
BGaming has launched a Christmas-themed version of its Wild Moon Thieves slot, adding seasonal features to the game's bonus mechanics.
iGaming content provider BGaming has released Wild Moon Thieves X-Mas Edition, a festive variant of its existing Wild Moon Thieves slot, aimed at players during the holiday period.
The 5x4 slot is set on a lunar backdrop populated by party-hatted spider characters, which serve as Scatter symbols. Landing three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 triggers a Free Spins round, in which spiders replace regular symbols with cobweb Wilds that complete winning combinations before the following spin.
Bonus features
Ahead of the Free Spins round, players encounter a mini-game featuring 16 closed doors. These can be opened manually or via an Autoselect function to reveal Wild symbols that will feature in the Free Spins round, continuing until a Collector symbol appears and totals up any Multipliers accumulated.
A second bonus round, Moon Respin, is triggered when two iced gem Bonus symbols land on reels 2 to 4. This Hold and Win style feature offers three starting respins and includes sticky Moon Multipliers worth up to x100, alongside Collector, Booster and Cleaner symbols. Respins can be retriggered when these symbols appear, with the round ending once all cells are filled or respins are exhausted, at which point accumulated Multipliers are applied to the player’s bet.
The Booster symbol adds a random value to Multipliers on the reels, while the Cleaner consolidates all active Multipliers into a single Moon symbol before removing the others.
The medium volatility title carries a default maximum win of €250,000 and a return-to-player rate of 97%.

Alex Baliukonis, Game Designers Team Lead at BGaming, said the title was designed to offer players varied gameplay through its two bonus rounds and mini-game, adding that the studio expects the slot to hold player engagement beyond the festive period.
