Blueprint Gaming enters Swiss market via Swiss Casinos deal

Blueprint Gaming, the UK-based slots studio owned by Germany’s Merkur Group, has entered Switzerland’s regulated online gambling market through a new agreement with Swiss Casinos, one of the country’s largest land-based and online operators.

The deal, announced on 9 April 2025, will see a selection of Blueprint’s top-performing slot titles added to Swiss Casinos’ online platform. The rollout includes branded games such as Rick and Morty: Strike Back, The Flintstones and ted Afterparty.

Swiss Casinos operates several land-based venues in Pfäffikon, St Gallen, Schaffhausen and Zurich, alongside its online casino site and a restaurant venue in Zurich. The group is wholly Swiss-owned and reported total casino revenue of CHF 203.9 million in 2023, with gross gaming revenue of CHF 187.7 million.

Expansion strategy

The agreement forms part of Blueprint’s wider push to grow its international presence. The supplier holds licences from regulators including the UKGC, MGA, AGCC and GRA, and its content is already certified for play across markets such as the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and Canada.

Samuel Haggblom, Director of Key Accounts at Blueprint Gaming, said the partnership marked the company’s entry into what he described as Switzerland’s prosperous iGaming market, adding that launching with the country’s leading operator reflected the firm’s ambitions for 2025.

Patrick Mastai, Director Online Casino at Swiss Casinos, said the integration of Blueprint’s content would strengthen the operator’s game library, noting that providing engaging content remained a priority for driving player acquisition and retention.

The announcement was issued by Square in the Air on behalf of Blueprint Gaming.
