Burendo appoints new Managing Director as part of five-strong leadership hiring drive

Burendo, a technology consultancy serving the betting and gaming sector, has announced five senior appointments as it looks to expand its operations through 2025.

Neil Dunlop has joined as Managing Director, taking on responsibility for guiding the company’s strategic direction. He previously held a senior role at another UK consultancy, where he was involved in its growth.

Charlotte Goulding has been appointed People Director, with responsibility for the firm’s culture and talent strategy, an area in which she has previous experience building teams.

Technical leadership expanded

Alongside these two hires, Burendo has strengthened its technical leadership with the appointment of Ivor Caldwell as Principal Consultant, Lee Tucker as Account Owner, and Gordon Brown as Technology Leader and Account Owner.

The company said the new hires represented an investment in experience aimed at supporting delivery for its client base, which includes sports betting and iGaming operators.

Dunlop said he was pleased to join the business at what he described as an important stage of its development, citing the quality of the wider team as reflective of the consultancy’s ambitions.

Burendo founder Glenn Crossley said the expansion of the senior leadership team represented a significant investment in the company’s future, adding that the new appointees brought experience across technology and other sectors that would support the firm’s growth plans for 2025 and its ability to serve clients.

Founded in 2018, Burendo operates from offices in Leeds and London.
