Evoplay enters Ontario market via Rivalry tie-up

Evoplay, the game development studio, has launched a selection of its slots portfolio with operator Rivalry in Ontario, marking the company’s first move into the Canadian province.

Twenty titles from the studio’s catalogue are now live for players in the market, including The Greatest Catch Bonus Buy, Hot Triple Sevens and Hot Volcano.

The rollout follows Evoplay securing an AGCO licence in March 2025, extending its footprint in North America. Rivalry, which holds one of Ontario’s first online gambling licences, offers sports betting, esports, casino and fantasy products in the province.

Commercial expansion

Evoplay said the tie-up gives it a route to a new audience in Ontario and forms a base for further growth in the region.

Alex Malchenko, head of sales at Evoplay, described the launch as a significant step in the studio’s commercial development, adding that the company had high expectations for the Ontario market and believed its games would appeal to local players.

Steven Salz, chief executive of Rivalry, said the operator aims to offer a differentiated casino experience in Ontario and that the partnership with Evoplay would bring innovative content to its player base. He added that Rivalry was pleased to be the first operator to carry Evoplay’s titles in the province.

Evoplay’s portfolio spans more than 250 slots, table, crash and e-instant games.
