RubyPlay enters US market via Rush Street Interactive tie-up

RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming content studio, has agreed a partnership with Rush Street Interactive, Inc. (NYSE: RSI) to supply slot titles to the operator’s BetRivers brand in New Jersey, announced on 14th January 2025. The deal represents RubyPlay’s debut in the US online casino market.

The launch begins with an initial selection of five exclusive slot titles, expanding to fifteen by the end of January. Games are being introduced to BetRivers players in New Jersey through a phased rollout, starting with Go High Panda and followed by titles including Gummy Giga Match and Immortal Ways Sweet Coin.

The portfolio combines existing RubyPlay titles from other global markets with games created specifically for the local audience, such as Diamond Explosion Patriots.

Wider US expansion plans

Beyond New Jersey, RubyPlay said it is preparing to extend its BetRivers partnership into further regulated states, including Pennsylvania and Delaware, with additional opportunities being explored in Michigan and West Virginia, among others.

Rush Street Interactive operates in multiple regulated US states through its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands.

Dr Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, described the partnership as a major step in the company’s global growth, highlighting New Jersey as a strong starting point given its established online casino market.

Richard Schwartz, Chief Executive Officer at Rush Street Interactive, said RubyPlay’s slot portfolio had built a reputation internationally for quality and entertainment value, and confirmed RSI as the first operator to bring the studio’s content to US players.

RubyPlay operates offices in Australia, Malta and Ukraine, and holds a catalogue of more than 100 slot titles alongside bespoke game development services for operators.
