Evoplay Launches High-Volatility Slot Lava Burst

Game developer Evoplay has launched Lava Burst, a high-volatility slot title featuring multiple bonus mechanics aimed at sustaining player engagement across sessions.

The game runs on a 4x3 grid and is centred on two core features, the Bonus Game and Ultra Bonus Game. Both begin with three spins, with each newly landed symbol resetting the spin counter. Rounds continue until either all 12 grid positions are filled or the player runs out of spins.

Bonus mechanics and multipliers

The Ultra Bonus Game guarantees a Lava Burst feature trigger, in which between one and twelve fire comets strike random cells on the reels. Each strike applies a x2 multiplier, which increases further if the same cell is struck again.

The title also includes Mystic Symbols, which convert into another symbol once the Bonus or Ultra Bonus round ends, and a Mystic Jackpot Symbol that guarantees one of three jackpot tiers: Mini (25x), Minor (50x) or Major (100x). A Grand jackpot worth 1000x is available by collecting all 12 bonus symbols of any type during a round.

A Black Hole feature accumulates the value of previously landed Bonus symbols and jackpots, adding to overall win potential.

Coin symbols carry bet multipliers throughout the game. Bonus Coins range from x1 to x4, while Heavy Coins, which only appear in the base game, carry higher values of x5 to x9. Heavy Coins stay locked on the reels until a Bonus or Ultra Bonus round is triggered, unless the player’s bet size is changed.

The standard Bonus Game is triggered when four symbols land on the central line, launching a three-spin round. As with the Ultra Bonus Game, each new Bonus symbol resets the spin count, and payouts are only awarded once the round concludes, with all landed Bonus symbol values totalled at that point.

Company comment

Ivan Kravchuk, chief executive of Evoplay, said the release was intended to keep players engaged through its combination of escalating multipliers and layered bonus mechanics, positioning the title as a performance-focused addition to operator portfolios.

Evoplay’s back catalogue spans more than 250 slot, table, crash and instant games.
