Kiron Interactive achieves ISO 27001 certification for data security

Kiron Interactive announced on 28 October 2024 that it has been awarded ISO IEC 27001 certification, an international standard recognising organisations with robust information security management systems.

The London-based supplier said its internal processes were assessed against more than 100 criteria set out by the standard, following an extensive consultation period. The certification is considered significant for the company’s ability to operate across multiple regulated jurisdictions globally.

Security measures

According to Kiron, the certification reflects its approach to identifying and managing security risks, including regular assessment of potential threats and vulnerabilities. The company said it maintains strict access controls limiting sensitive data to authorised personnel, with information encrypted both at rest and in transit.

Kiron also stated that its systems are continuously monitored to detect and respond to security incidents, supported by defined response plans intended to limit the impact of any issues that arise.

Steven Spartinos, Co-CEO at Kiron, said data security remained a top priority for the business and that the certification validated its commitment to providing a secure environment for customers. He added that it demonstrated adherence to industry best practice and that the company’s handling of partner data would now be certified to the same standards applied to its products.

Kiron Interactive, established in 2001, develops virtual sports, numbers games and casino content for operators, casinos and lotteries in regulated markets. The company says it holds licences and certifications across numerous territories and serves more than 300 international clients.
