Games Global adds Barstruck as exclusive studio partner
Games Global has signed Stockholm-based studio Barstruck to its exclusive content network, with debut slot title Flaming Wolf Link&Win set to launch on 23 September.
Games Global announced on 16 September 2024 that it has added Barstruck to its roster of exclusive studios, expanding its in-house content offering ahead of the developer’s first release.
Barstruck, a Stockholm-headquartered studio staffed by industry veterans, will bring its debut title, Flaming Wolf Link&Win, to Games Global’s operator network from 23 September. The slot is set in an American valley landscape with a Western-themed soundtrack and includes multiple jackpots, free spins, stacked Flaming Wolf Wilds and the supplier’s established Link&Win and Win Booster mechanics.
Link&Win mechanic
The Link&Win feature triggers when six or more special symbols land during the base game or free spins, starting a three-respin round in which only special symbols and blanks can appear. Landing further special symbols resets the respin count. Collecting all 15 moon symbols unlocks a 5,000x mega jackpot, while the Win Booster feature increases the frequency with which Link&Win is triggered. Landing three bonus symbols awards 10 free spins, each featuring a 3x3 jumbo symbol.
Barstruck’s addition brings Games Global’s studio network, combining in-house and partnered developers, to more than 40. The company said further titles from Barstruck are planned for release over the coming months.
Executive comment
Andy Booth, Chief Product Officer at Games Global, said the partnership reflects the company’s aim of offering one of the most comprehensive content portfolios in the industry, adding that Barstruck’s approach aligns with what Games Global looks for in a studio partner.
Roger Admeus, Chief Executive Officer at Barstruck, described the deal as a landmark moment for the studio, saying it gives Barstruck access to Games Global’s data resources and distribution network across Europe, the Americas and other regions.
Games Global operates a network of more than 40 in-house and partnered studios, which the company says have produced over 1,300 proprietary games over the past two decades, spanning slots, table games, video poker, video bingo, progressive jackpots, game shows, crash games and live casino products.
