Games Global strikes multi-game deal with Hasbro for Dungeons & Dragons slots

Games Global, a supplier of iGaming content, has announced a partnership with toy and game company Hasbro and its Wizards of the Coast division to develop a series of branded slot games based on the Dungeons & Dragons franchise.

The first title arising from the deal, Dungeons & Dragons Tales of Riches, is being developed by Neon Valley Studios and is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2025. Games Global said further Dungeons & Dragons titles are planned as part of a wider, multi-game collaboration with Hasbro.

The tie-up coincides with Dungeons & Dragons marking its 50th anniversary in 2024, a milestone Hasbro has been marking throughout the year. Games Global said it intends to use the brand’s fantasy setting to create a slot experience aimed at engaging both existing fans and operators looking to reach that audience.

Expanding branded content

The agreement adds to Games Global’s portfolio of branded games, which the company said it is building as part of a broader push to diversify its content offering with recognisable intellectual property.

Andy Booth, chief product officer at Games Global, said the Hasbro name carries recognition well beyond the toy and game sector, and that the partnership reflects the company’s ambition to bring globally known brands into its content pipeline. He said the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons slot is intended to combine Hasbro’s storytelling heritage with Games Global’s game development experience, and described it as the first of several planned releases under the collaboration.

Games Global operates a network of in-house and partnered studios and says it has produced more than 1,300 proprietary games over the past two decades, spanning slots, table games, video poker, video bingo, jackpots, game shows, crash games and live casino products.

Hasbro’s portfolio includes more than 1,800 brands, among them Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Nerf, Transformers, Play-Doh and Peppa Pig. Wizards of the Coast, a Hasbro subsidiary based in Renton, Washington, develops the Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering franchises through studios in Austin, Montreal and Raleigh.
