Habanero dives into mythology with new slot Poseidon
Slots and table games provider Habanero has launched Poseidon, a 5x5 underwater-themed video slot featuring tumbling wins and a cascading bonus mechanic.
Habanero has released Poseidon, a new online slot themed around the Greek god of the sea, adding to its growing portfolio of casino titles.
The 5x5 game is set beneath the waves, with symbols including pearls, sea creatures and mermaids appearing across the reels. It uses a tumbling wins mechanic, meaning winning symbols are cleared from the board and replaced by new ones falling from above.
Poseidon himself serves as the wild symbol, while his trident acts as the scatter. Landing three or more scatters triggers a free spins round offering a minimum of 15 free games.
Poseidon Smash feature
During the bonus round, spins can randomly activate a feature called Poseidon Smash, which clears all low-paying symbols from the reels and prompts a fresh cascade, increasing the potential for larger wins.
Where permitted by local regulations, players can access the bonus round directly through a Buy Feature option. The game also includes a Super Bet feature, allowing players to increase their stake in exchange for improved odds of triggering both the free spins round and the Poseidon Smash feature during play.
