Omnigame appoints Jordan Gnat to board as it targets international growth
Danish iGaming operator Omnigame has named industry veteran Jordan Gnat to its board of directors as it prepares to expand beyond its home market.
Omnigame, the Copenhagen-based full-service iGaming business behind the pip.dk operator brand, has appointed Jordan Gnat to its board of directors. The move, announced on 10th September 2024, coincides with plans by the company to pursue commercial expansion in Denmark and other markets.
Gnat brings a lengthy track record in gaming and iGaming leadership. He previously founded and served as chief executive of Boardwalk Gaming and Entertainment, held senior vice president roles at Scientific Games and The Stars Group, and was Chief Commercial Officer at FOX Bet. More recently he founded and led Playmaker Capital and served as a Venture Partner at Dreamcraft Ventures.
Expansion plans
Omnigame operates pip.dk exclusively in Denmark, using content developed in-house, and says it has built a growing market share and loyal player base in the country. The company is now looking to extend its presence into other regulated markets.
Co-CEO Peter Weinreich said the appointment came as Omnigame entered a period of growth, adding that Gnat’s insight would be valuable as the business looked ahead.
Gnat said Omnigame’s fully integrated model, spanning game development, its proprietary platform and its own operator brand, had allowed it to focus closely on player experience, contributing to a strong market share in Denmark with a notably high proportion of female players. He said he looked forward to supporting the company’s development plans.
Omnigame was founded in 2015 and describes its approach as centred on original game mechanics and quality over volume, aiming to build a loyal player following through its in-house developed titles and platform technology.
The release was issued by Square in the Air on behalf of Omnigame.
