OpenBet Completes Management Buyout from Endeavor
Betting and gaming technology supplier OpenBet has been sold by Endeavor Group Holdings to OB Global Holdings in a management buyout backed by Ariel Emanuel, with chief executive Jordan Levin remaining in charge.
OpenBet has confirmed the completion of its sale by Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EDR) to OB Global Holdings LLC, in a management buyout supported by Ariel Emanuel and involving participation from OpenBet executives. Jordan Levin continues as chief executive of the company.
Levin said the deal positions OpenBet to pursue further market expansion and product development, citing the company’s product range, staff and current commercial momentum.
Global footprint
OpenBet says its technology platform supports more than 200 operators worldwide across regulated betting and gaming markets. The company is also expanding in Brazil, where it has gone live with BandBet and struck partnerships with other operators as the market opens up under new regulation.
In the lottery sector, OpenBet describes itself as a leading supplier to government-owned and government-sponsored sports betting operators, powering more than 20 members of the World Lottery Association. It holds Gold Contributor status with the WLA and says it is investing in responsible gambling tools through its Neccton unit, which uses AI-based technology for player protection and compliance.
The company points to products such as BetBuilder, its same-game parlay tool, and OpenBet Locator, used to support regulatory compliance, as part of its ongoing product investment.
IMG Arena deal
Separately, on 19 March 2025, Endeavor agreed to sell IMG Arena, its sports betting data business operating under OpenBet, to Sportradar. Under the terms linked to the OpenBet sale agreement, OB Global will own and manage IMG Arena until that transaction closes, which is subject to regulatory approval and expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Oakvale Capital LLP and The Raine Group acted as financial advisors to Endeavor on the transaction, with Latham & Watkins LLP serving as legal advisor.
OpenBet, which has operated for more than 25 years, supplies sports betting, casino and lottery technology to operators in the US, UK, Australia and Canada, alongside a presence in Europe and Asia-Pacific. The company has recently received industry recognition, including the Safer Gambling Supplier award at the EGR Europe Awards 2025 and the Sports Betting Supplier title at the EGR North America Awards 2024.
