Playson secures Brazil entry with licence and operator tie-ups
Playson has entered the newly regulated Brazilian iGaming market after gaining approval from the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets, expanding its content through several licensed operators.
Playson has been granted market access to Brazil by the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA), marking its formal entry into one of the world’s most closely watched regulated iGaming markets.
The approval allows the supplier’s game portfolio, including its Hold and Win and Hit the Bonus series, to go live with licensed operators in the country. Playson confirmed its titles are now available through Entain, Brazino777, Betano, Superbet, EstrelaBet and Novibet.
Building on LatAm momentum
The Brazilian licence adds to Playson’s broader push into Latin America, which has included a distribution agreement with Light & Wonder to bring its games to players across the region.
Tamas Kusztos, Chief Commercial Officer at Playson, said the company was pleased to have entered the Brazilian market and looked forward to building on its regional reputation, adding that the entry was the result of work across multiple departments within the business.
Playson operates across 25 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The company holds licences including those from the UK Gambling Commission, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA, MinCetur and SPA, along with a recognition notice from the MGA. It is headquartered in Malta and Slovakia.
