AvatarUX secures Brazilian gaming licence ahead of market launch

AvatarUX has received a gaming licence from Brazil’s Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA), permitting the slots studio to begin operating in the country following the launch of its regulated betting and gaming market earlier in 2025.

The licence allows AvatarUX to make its portfolio of slot titles available to licensed operators in Brazil, one of the newer regulated markets in the global gambling industry. The company’s games are built around proprietary mechanics such as PopWins, alongside features including ZapReel, Loaded Reel and Wild Reel.

Part of wider international expansion

The Brazilian licence follows AvatarUX’s earlier entry into Romania this year, and the company has described the move as part of a broader strategy to expand its footprint across international markets.

Lara Falzon, chief executive of AvatarUX, said the Brazilian licence represented an important milestone in the studio’s plans to grow its presence globally, adding that the company’s portfolio includes titles developed specifically for the Brazilian market. She said the studio expects its products to stand out to players in the region.

The announcement was issued by AvatarUX Studios via its communications agency, Square in the Air.
