Pragmatic Play adds Mahjong Wins Super Scatter to slot range

Pragmatic Play, a supplier of content to the iGaming sector, has released Mahjong Wins Super Scatter, expanding its Super Scatter series of slot titles.

The game is built on a 2,000-ways-to-win mechanic and takes its theme from the traditional tile game mahjong. Consecutive winning tumbles can raise a win multiplier by up to 5x during the base game.

Gold wilds and bonus spins

During play, symbols appearing on reels two to four can randomly turn gold, becoming wild symbols if they complete a winning line. Landing three scatter symbols activates a bonus round of 10 free spins, in which the tumbling win multiplier can climb as high as 10x. In this feature, every symbol on the third reel is marked gold, generating additional wilds to boost potential payouts.

The title also introduces Super Scatter symbols, which pay out directly when they trigger the bonus round. Depending on how many Super Scatters appear, one, two, three or four, players can win 50x, 500x, 5,000x or up to 100,000x their stake respectively.

Part of a wider series

Mahjong Wins Super Scatter follows earlier releases in the same series, including Gates of Olympus Super Scatter and Gates of Hades, continuing Pragmatic Play’s expansion of titles built around the Super Scatter mechanic.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said the new release is the second game in the studio’s Super Scatter range, noting that the feature can deliver large wins when it triggers the bonus game.
