Pragmatic Play enters arcade games with launch of Plinko+

Pragmatic Play has launched Plinko+, marking its entry into the arcade games category and adding a new vertical to its existing content offering.

The title sees players drop balls down a pyramid-shaped grid, with each ball bouncing off pins before landing in one of several prize buckets at the base. Buckets nearer the centre pay out smaller prizes, while those on the outer edges offer higher returns.

Customisable gameplay

Plinko+ allows players to adjust the pyramid’s size, ranging from 8 to 16 lines, and to select a risk level from low to high between rounds. These settings influence both the number of prize buckets and the potential payouts on offer.

According to the supplier, the arcade format is designed to appeal to casual players through simple, familiar mechanics rather than complex gameplay, sitting alongside its existing slots, live casino and sportsbook products.

More arcade titles planned

Irina Cornides, chief operating officer at Pragmatic Play, said Plinko+ is the first in a wider arcade portfolio that will combine low-volatility gameplay with multipliers of up to 1,000x. She confirmed that further titles, named Spire+ and Mines+, are in development and expected to follow.

Pragmatic Play is headquartered in Gibraltar and supplies gaming content to operators across regulated markets worldwide, offering slots, live casino, bingo, virtual sports and sportsbook products through a single API.

The release was issued by Square in the Air on behalf of Pragmatic Play.
