Digital identity specialist Signicat has teamed up with AML automation firm Strise to launch an integrated solution covering customer verification and anti-money laundering compliance.

Signicat and Strise Partner on Combined KYC and AML Compliance Platform

Signicat, a pan-European digital identity and fraud prevention provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Strise, a specialist in anti-money laundering (AML) automation, to offer businesses a combined Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML compliance solution.

The partnership, announced from London, brings together Signicat’s identity verification tools and orchestration platform with Strise’s AML technology. The aim is to give companies a single, modular system covering the full compliance lifecycle, from customer onboarding through to ongoing monitoring, rather than requiring separate tools for identity checks and AML processes.

No-code integration

Central to the offering is the integration of Signicat’s Mint platform, a no-code tool for digital identity verification, into Strise’s AML systems. This is intended to let compliance teams build and adapt verification and monitoring workflows without needing technical or coding expertise.

The combined solution is designed for AML analysts, KYC specialists, relationship managers and compliance officers. It includes customer-facing dynamic webforms linked to a range of electronic ID schemes and identity verification services, alongside options for advanced authentication and customised workflows. Signicat Mint also provides a no-code editor and pre-built templates covering onboarding, authentication, digital insights and electronic signatures.

Industry comment

Stein-Olav Davidsen, Chief of SMB and Online Channels at Signicat, said the partnership pairs Signicat’s identity verification and orchestration capabilities with Strise’s AML tools to make compliance more accessible without extensive coding requirements.

Edward Bragg, responsible for strategic partnerships at Strise, said the collaboration is intended to help businesses manage AML compliance with less manual work, while improving efficiency, flexibility and regulatory adherence.

The companies describe the platform as scalable and adaptable to different compliance needs, including automated onboarding, fraud prevention and real-time AML monitoring. The integrated solution is now available to businesses.

Signicat, founded in 2006 and acquired by Nordic Capital in 2019, employs more than 450 staff across 17 European offices. Strise focuses on AML automation aimed at reducing compliance backlogs for financial crime teams.
