SIS extends Competitive Gaming reach with Dafabet partnership

SIS (Sports Information Services) has gone live with its Competitive Gaming product through a new partnership with operator Dafabet, extending the offering into markets across Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, the company announced on 25 February 2025.

The launch gives Dafabet access to SIS’s full suite of H2H Global Gaming League eSoccer and eBasketball matches, part of a product covering some 200,000 events annually. The end-to-end esports betting product is built for continuous, short-form wagering opportunities and is designed to boost engagement and margin for operators.

Product details

According to SIS, the H2H Global Gaming League format can add as much as 10% in value to basketball and soccer betting verticals. Matches are contested by professional gamers and produced in-house, with ultra-low latency and on-screen betting prompts built into the presentation.

SIS said Competitive Gaming remains the only esports betting product to hold Gold Standards accreditation from the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), with trained referees overseeing matches to ensure fairness.

Wider rollout

The Dafabet deal follows the recent expansion of Competitive Gaming into a 12th US state, where SIS already has agreements in place with bet365 and FanDuel.

Prean Naidu, Commercial Manager for the UK, Europe and Asia at SIS, described the Dafabet agreement as a significant step in the global expansion of Competitive Gaming, pointing to demand for high-integrity eBasketball and eSoccer products among operators.

James Barnfather, Head of Sports at Dafabet, said the integration of SIS’s eBasketball and eSoccer events was an important addition to the operator’s offering across its markets in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, adding that the partnership was aimed at improving the betting experience for customers.

SIS has supplied live pictures and data to the global betting industry for more than 35 years, with a portfolio spanning horse and greyhound racing, esports and live numbers draws. The company serves more than 400 retail and online customers in over 50 countries, offering more than 60,000 annual racing events alongside its Competitive Gaming and Live Numbers products.
