SIS overhauls Competitive Gaming leadership as esports betting push continues

Sports Information Services (SIS), the UK-based live betting content provider, has restructured the leadership of its Competitive Gaming division as it seeks to grow the esports betting product’s presence in international markets.

Under the changes, announced on 28 July 2025, Peter Camden becomes Head of Competitive Gaming Product, Stephen Maguire takes on the role of Head of Competitive Gaming Operations, and Aaron St Pierre is now Head of Sports Trading. The three have a combined tenure of nearly a decade at SIS and have been involved in expanding the vertical across Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the US.

High-integrity esports offering

SIS’s Competitive Gaming product provides short-form, round-the-clock betting content across roughly 225,000 eBasketball and eSoccer events each year, which the company says can add up to 10% in value for partner sportsbooks. The eSoccer and eBasketball content runs across 10 concurrent streams and is produced under ESIC Gold Standard integrity levels.

The leadership changes come as SIS continues to develop the Competitive Gaming portfolio and pursue further geographical expansion for the product.

Executive comment

Andy Purkiss, Chief Operating Officer at SIS, said Camden, Maguire and St Pierre had played a key role in delivering the Competitive Gaming offering to the company’s network of international operators. He added that their leadership and experience gave the business confidence it could deliver further value for partners, extend its reach in key markets and maintain integrity-led standards in its betting content.
