SIS strikes live numbers draws deal with 888AFRICA

SIS (Sports Information Services) has agreed a partnership with operator 888AFRICA to provide its live numbers draws product, the companies announced on 22 October 2024.

The tie-up gives 888AFRICA access to SIS’s full suite of more than 200,000 live draws annually, including the 49’s live draw alongside the 39’s and Fast 15’s formats. Integration has been delivered through a region-specific iframe developed in conjunction with Bitville Gaming.

Expanding African footprint

The deal extends SIS’s presence across Africa, a region where its live numbers draw products have already gained traction. The SIS-owned 49’s has been running for more than 27 years and is described as the original live draw format, while the 39’s and Fast 15’s provide higher-frequency events every three minutes.

888AFRICA, which launched in 2022, licenses 888 Holdings’ betting and gaming brands for Africa’s regulated markets. The operator currently runs its 888bet brand in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Zambia, and will now add the SIS live draw content to its existing product range.

Executive comment

Joe Andrews, Head of Sales Africa at SIS, said the partnership would increase the visibility of the company’s products in the region, crediting Bitville Gaming’s reach for helping deliver a wider range of content to operators.

Ian Marmion, Chief Operating Officer at 888AFRICA, said the addition of the SIS live numbers portfolio would help boost player engagement, noting the content’s track record of performance across African markets.

Andrew von Hoesslin, Chief Executive at Bitville Gaming, said the agreement with SIS was designed to widen the operator network for the content and that early signs pointed to a positive reception from 888AFRICA and its players.
