Independent slots studio Thunderkick has released MeJUICEa, a new title that puts a contemporary spin on Greek mythology by reimagining the Gorgon figure alongside retro fruit symbols and cartoon-style artwork.

The game is built on a 6x5 cluster pays structure and centres on the Crush feature, Thunderkick’s own variation on the avalanche mechanic. Winning symbol clusters and scatters on the grid become heavy and crush the symbols beneath them, allowing new symbols to fall into place.

Charge Meter and Global Multiplier

Symbols removed via the Crush feature are collected in a Charge Meter, with crushed wilds filling the bar instantly. Each time the meter fills during a spin, a wild is banked, and once no further wins remain, the accumulated wilds are distributed randomly across the reels.

A Global Multiplier also applies to base game wins, starting at 1x and rising as multiplier symbols of up to 50x are crushed.

The bonus round is activated by landing three scatter symbols, awarding 10 free spins. During the feature, both the Global Multiplier and Charge Meter carry over between spins, and additional scatters extend the round by one spin each. The game’s maximum win potential is stated at 5,000x.

Part of a wider 2025 release slate

MeJUICEa follows other Thunderkick releases this year, including Archie O’Loggins and the Enchanted Masks, The Wildos 2 and Midas Golden Touch 3, as the studio continues to expand its portfolio with titles built around its established visual style.

Mike Collins, Game Product Owner at Thunderkick, said mythology remains a popular theme for players but that the studio wanted to update it for a fresh experience. He added that MeJUICEa combines a well-known mythological character with retro fruit symbols, cartoon-inspired art and the new Crush feature, which the studio hopes will offer a new take on the genre.

Thunderkick is a Stockholm-based independent casino game studio founded in 2012, employing more than 80 staff and operating its own Remote Gaming Server. Its titles are distributed to operators including Bet365, William Hill, LeoVegas, 888 Casino, Mr Green, PokerStars Casino, ComeOn, Unibet and Betsson.
