Yggdrasil and Bulletproof Games launch Lollipop Drop MultiMax slot
Yggdrasil has partnered with Bulletproof Games to release Lollipop Drop MultiMax, a cascading video slot offering wins of up to 10,000 times stake.
Yggdrasil and Bulletproof Games have released Lollipop Drop MultiMax, a new online slot available from 31 October 2024. The five-reel, 20-payline cascading game gives players the chance to win up to 10,000 times their stake through a combination of MultiMax Free Spins, Prize Boxes and a Gumball Machine feature.
Each winning spin advances a free spins trail by one step, and landing four or more consecutive wins triggers between seven and 25 free spins. Before entering the bonus round, players choose from three prize boxes, two of which contain the number of spins already earned while the third offers a higher amount, with the option to swap their selection before it is locked in.
Multiplier and bonus mechanics
The free spins round is enhanced by Yggdrasil’s MultiMax Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM), which gives each of the five reels an independent multiplier that increases by 1x whenever a wild symbol appears. A separate, non-resetting free spins trail runs during this feature, making retriggers easier to achieve.
The Gumball Machine feature is activated when one or more Gumball Machine scatter symbols appear, releasing a random number of gumballs that award either free spins or cash prizes. If this feature triggers during the free spins round, MultiMax multipliers apply to any wins. An Encore Mode also allows players to increase their bet for extra respins when the free spins trail lands on an encore marker, while a buy-in option lets players pay 100 times their stake to enter the free spins bonus directly.
The game runs on Yggdrasil’s GATI platform, which the company says provides partners with a regulation-ready toolkit for faster game development and distribution.
Comment
Zoe Bird, Head of Masters at Yggdrasil, said the Bulletproof Games team had worked hard to create the new title, describing it as proof that there can never be too much of a good thing.
Michael Bullock, Product Director at Bulletproof Games, said the studio had set out to build a vibrant, feel-good game with engaging mechanics and believed it had delivered on that aim.
Bulletproof Games, founded in 2015 and based in Lichfield, UK, is part of Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme and has previously used the GATI platform to develop titles including Tumble in the Jungle Wild Fight.
