Yggdrasil and CasinoGrounds launch Max Elements GigaBlox slot
Yggdrasil has partnered with streaming community CasinoGrounds to release a new slot developed with input from its members, offering wins of up to 25,000 times the stake.
Yggdrasil has released Max Elements GigaBlox, a slot title created in collaboration with CasinoGrounds, the online casino streaming community, the studio announced on 20 February 2025.
The game was developed with input from CasinoGrounds’ iGaming experts and community, and offers a maximum win potential of 25,000 times the player’s stake. It combines Yggdrasil’s GigaBlox mechanic, which uses oversized symbol blocks, with several new features.
Feature Runes and Mystery Stones
Max Elements GigaBlox includes four Feature Runes that can be triggered in both the base game and Free Spins rounds. The Transform Rune upgrades up to three low-paying symbols into higher-value ones, while the Delete Rune removes symbols that appear fewer than six times to create space for new wins. The Multiply Rune raises the win multiplier by up to 3x, and the Add Rune increases it by between 1x and 100x.
The game also features a Mystery Stone symbol, which can appear in sizes up to 5x5 and transforms into a random symbol after each Avalanche, continuing until no further consecutive wins occur.
Free Spins modes
Landing three Scatter symbols activates one of two Free Spins modes. The Mystery Stone Free Spins guarantees a Mystery Stone on every spin, while the Runic Free Spins ensures a Feature Rune appears on each spin. Both modes carry a persistent win multiplier that increases with every Avalanche.
Players who land two Scatters alongside a Super Scatter trigger eight Super Free Spins, during which every spin includes both a guaranteed Feature Rune and a GigaBlox Mystery Stone. Reaching certain multiplier thresholds during this mode unlocks additional free spins.
Tomasz Kowalik, Head of Games Production at Yggdrasil, said the collaboration represented a new phase for both companies in bringing player-driven content to market, highlighting the return of the studio’s GigaBlox GEM mechanic within the title.
Daniel Giuffra, Brand Manager at CasinoGrounds, said the game was designed around mechanics valued by the community, including engaging features, multipliers and win potential.
