Yggdrasil releases fruit-machine style slot GoldStorm Ultra

Yggdrasil announced the release of GoldStorm Ultra on 12th September 2025, a new addition to its core games portfolio built around a lightning-themed take on traditional slot machine aesthetics.

The 20-payline, 5x3 title uses classic symbols including Lucky 7s, Bells and Bars, alongside wilds that can carry random multipliers and a high-paying Star icon.

Dual free spins mechanics

The game features collection meters on either side of the reels that fill as Free Spins or Super Free Spins symbols land. Gathering 50 matching scatters during play triggers the corresponding bonus mode.

Standard Free Spins awards 10 spins with two reel sets on screen, though only the top grid is active initially. Players can extend the round further by collecting 14 green scatters for five additional spins, while 14 pink scatters unlock the second grid along with more spins.

Super Free Spins, by contrast, activates both grids simultaneously from the outset, increasing win potential. In this mode, 40 pink symbols are needed to add a further five spins. Wilds remain sticky throughout both bonus rounds. Where permitted by local regulations, players have the option to buy directly into either free spins mode.
