Yggdrasil secures Danish B2B licence from Spillemyndigheden
Yggdrasil has been granted a new business-to-business licence by the Danish Gambling Authority, allowing it to keep supplying content to locally licensed operators until 2029.
Yggdrasil has obtained a B2B supplier licence from Spillemyndigheden, the Danish Gambling Authority, the company announced on 10th January 2025.
The licence secures the iGaming content provider’s continued presence in Denmark following new legislation that took effect on 1st January 2025. Yggdrasil has operated in the Danish market since 2017, and the newly granted permit allows it to work with locally licensed operators through to 2029.
Nordic market focus
The company describes Denmark as one of its key markets, citing strong player demand for its slots portfolio in the region.
Jose Simon, Chief Commercial Officer at Yggdrasil, said the licence renewal reflected the company’s continued push into regulated markets worldwide. He added that Yggdrasil, which has Scandinavian roots, remained committed to supplying Danish operators and their players with high-quality gaming content.
Yggdrasil is headquartered in Sweden, with its operational headquarters in Malta and further offices in Poland and Gibraltar.
