Altenar signs sportsbook deal with BetStarters for emerging markets push
Sportsbook and iGaming software provider Altenar has agreed a partnership with BetStarters to integrate its platform into the latter's white-label and turnkey offerings for operators in Africa, Asia and South America.
Altenar, a sportsbook and iGaming software supplier, announced on 10 December 2024 a strategic tie-up with iGaming technology and services provider BetStarters, aimed at expanding its footprint in emerging betting markets.
Under the agreement, Altenar’s sportsbook platform will be integrated into BetStarters’ existing solutions, which are built around white-label and turnkey platforms for online casino and sportsbook operators. BetStarters focuses on operators in fast-growing regions including Africa, Asia and South America, offering customisable technology, integrations and operational support to help clients launch and scale their businesses.
Strategic rationale
The partnership is intended to strengthen Altenar’s position as a sportsbook provider to operators worldwide, giving BetStarters access to additional technology aimed at improving player engagement and supporting growth in key regions.
Francesco Papallo, Regional Director at Altenar, said the company was pleased to work with BetStarters and provide its sportsbook technology, adding that Altenar has a track record of supporting operator growth.
Glenn Debattista, COO at BetStarters, said the deal reflected the company’s commitment to offering clients leading technology, noting that Altenar’s platform aligned with BetStarters’ aim of delivering turnkey and white-label solutions to its operator partners.
Altenar was founded in 2011 and describes itself as a turnkey sportsbook provider that customises its offering to different markets, audiences and client requirements.
