BetGames has entered the regulated Dutch market through a new partnership with operator Circus.nl, announced on 28 August 2024.

Under the agreement, Circus.nl will offer three of BetGames’ games titles: 6+ Poker, Bet on Poker and Live Roulette. The deal forms part of BetGames’ ongoing strategy to expand its presence across regulated markets by positioning its games as a bridge between sports betting and casino play.

Comment from both sides

Andreas Koeberl, chief executive of BetGames, said the Netherlands is one of Europe’s most valuable markets and described the tie-up with Circus.nl as a step in the company’s broader aim of connecting sports bettors with casino content. He added that the partnership was expected to contribute to revenue growth on the platform.

Denis Wittebrood, casino operations manager at Circus.nl, said BetGames’ poker-style products give Dutch players the chance to compete against the house rather than other players, and highlighted the visible odds shown on each hand. He said the addition of BetGames’ live content strengthens the operator’s existing offering across slots and live casino.
