Light & Wonder launches cross-platform mystery progressive for Loto-Québec

Light & Wonder has unveiled a new cross-platform mystery progressive feature that links jackpot pools across land-based gaming machines and iGaming platforms. The white-label system allows a single progressive meter to run simultaneously on casino floors and online, creating a shared jackpot experience across both channels.

Canadian operator Loto-Québec has become the first to use the technology, launching a jackpot called Super Cagnotte. The progressive is live on Loto-Québec’s online gaming portal and on Light & Wonder’s Cosmic gaming machines in casinos across the province. It has debuted on the Rich Little Hens game series.

Bridging land-based and online play

Niaz Nejad, Managing Director, Americas - Gaming at Light & Wonder, said the cross-platform progressive feature is designed to connect land-based and online gaming, allowing players to engage with the same mystery jackpot whether they are at a casino or using a mobile device.
