Match Hype and Podium have announced a partnership to launch Race Hype, a video engagement product aimed at boosting recreational bettor interest in horse racing. The launch was unveiled on 11th February 2025, ahead of the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals as the UK Jumps season builds towards its conclusion.

The product uses automated video technology to generate thousands of daily clips covering every race across the Jumps and Flat seasons in the UK and Ireland. Videos can be customised with branding, live pre-event odds, voiceovers and multiple languages, according to the companies.

Part of Podium’s FLEXHUB suite

Race Hype forms part of Podium’s FLEXHUB range of products, offering adaptable user interface components intended to improve bettor engagement and retention. The companies said the tool builds on Podium’s existing horse racing coverage by supporting marketing activity with scalable multimedia content across business-to-consumer channels.

Filip Koubek, co-founder and chief commercial officer at Match Hype, said the collaboration combined the company’s video technology with Podium’s racing coverage and data to create a new multimedia experience for bettors and fans, allowing for dynamic, customised content at scale.

Richard Duncan, head of business development and strategic partnerships at Podium, said the partnership would let the firm deliver high-quality video content for its partners, supporting deeper engagement among both novice and experienced racing fans.
