SIS expands H2H Global Gaming League esports betting product to 12 US states

SIS Content Services, part of the SIS Group (Sports Information Services), has extended its H2H Global Gaming League (H2HGGL) to 12 US states, the company announced on 30 December 2024.

The eSports betting product, which includes eBasketball and eSoccer markets, is now approved for wagering in New Jersey, Colorado, Kentucky, Ohio, Arizona, North Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kansas, Connecticut, Wyoming and Vermont. FanDuel and bet365 are among the sportsbook operators offering the games, which SIS says amount to more than 200,000 eSports events annually.

Round-the-clock format

H2HGGL consists of short, event-based matches in which professional gamers compete head-to-head. The contests are streamed with low latency and include on-screen betting prompts. SIS positions the product as a complementary offering that can add as much as 10% in value to basketball and soccer betting verticals on sportsbook platforms.

The league holds the Esports Integrity Commission’s Gold Standard accreditation, which SIS describes as the highest level of certification in the sector. It is currently the only esports betting product to hold this status, with trained referees overseeing each contest.

Executive comment

Richard Ames, chief executive of SIS and president of SIS Content Services, said reaching the 12th US state reflected the progress the company has made in the American market, adding that SIS was pleased to offer round-the-clock eSoccer and eBasketball content to its US partners and hoped to build on this in 2025.

Michele Fischer, vice president of SIS Content Services, said it was pleasing to end 2024 with the product live in 12 states and strong sportsbook partners supporting the growth of H2HGGL, with further expansion expected next year.

SIS Content Services, a subsidiary of Sports Information Services, was established in 2021 to supply US sportsbook operators with data, video feeds and trading services covering SIS’s portfolio of horse racing and esports content. SIS has operated in live video and data delivery to the betting industry for more than 35 years and works with over 400 customers across more than 50 countries.
