nVenue and OpenBet Strike Deal on In-play Micro-betting
Micro-betting specialist nVenue has agreed a deal with OpenBet to distribute live, AI-generated in-game markets to operators through OpenBet's Trading System.
nVenue, a provider of live and micro-betting technology, has signed an agreement with betting technology supplier OpenBet to distribute its in-play micro-markets to operators in the US and other regulated markets. The integration will run through OpenBet’s Trading System, the companies announced on 21 October 2024.
The partnership will see nVenue’s machine learning and AI-driven odds generation added to OpenBet’s existing suite of trading products, which already includes data feeds, Bet Builder same-game multiples, player props, esports and virtuals content. According to the release, the addition extends OpenBet’s offering to its network of more than 200 operator partners.
Real-time markets across major US sports
Under the agreement, nVenue’s micro-markets will be made available to OpenBet customers across US sports including the NBA, NASCAR and NFL. The companies said the technology can generate over two billion real-time predictions, creating thousands of additional betting opportunities per event. This is intended to allow granular, moment-by-moment markets, such as bets on individual downs, carries, possessions or kick-offs during a game.
Executive comment
Jeremy Jones, chief revenue officer at nVenue, described the tie-up as a significant opportunity for the company, saying it would allow nVenue to reach OpenBet’s global operator network while reinforcing its position in the micro-betting sector. He added that the deal validated the value of real-time, event-specific betting products for driving operator growth and player engagement.
Sam Depoortere, vice president of platform products at OpenBet, said nVenue’s platform was innovative and that the integration would strengthen OpenBet’s ability to deliver in-demand, real-time content through its Trading System, adding value for both operators and players.
nVenue, founded in 2018, holds official partnerships with the NBA and NASCAR and also supplies micro-betting markets for MLB and NFL. OpenBet, a subsidiary of Endeavor, has more than 25 years of experience in the sports betting sector and serves upwards of 200 customers globally, with a presence in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Europe and APAC.
