Playson launches Charge the Clovers: Hit the Bonus slot
Playson has released Charge the Clovers: Hit the Bonus, an electric-themed slot title built around expanded bonus mechanics including Super Charge and Multi features.
Playson has added a new title to its Hit the Bonus series with the launch of Charge the Clovers: Hit the Bonus, a game centred on layered bonus mechanics and an electricity theme.
The game returns to a 3x3 grid featuring golden clover bonus symbols alongside blue tornado-style boost icons designed to increase potential payouts. The Bonus Game is triggered either by landing three symbols on the middle row or via sticky icons that appear randomly and remain in place until the bonus round is activated. Players can also unlock extra lines to improve their chances of reaching the Bonus Game, which includes four fixed jackpots, with the top prize set at 500x.
Charge and Multi mechanics
A special top row can generate Charge and Super Charge symbols, which raise the value of bonus symbols up to a maximum of 5x. The Charge feature applies to the bonus symbols on the reel beneath it, while Super Charge extends the boost to all bonus symbols across the game field.
Similarly, Multi and Super Multi features increase in-cell multipliers by one, with Multi affecting the reel below and Super Multi applying the increase across the entire matrix.
Additional blue tornado boost symbols collect the values of any Bonus, Jackpot and Sticky symbols in play, adding them together for a combined payout. Mystery and Mystery Jackpot symbols also feature, revealing a set of bonus icons once a round concludes.
Company comment
Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the title builds on the Hit the Bonus series by combining its bonus game structure with the new Super Charge and Multi mechanics to offer a range of winning opportunities. He added that the inclusion of mystery symbols gives players further chances to pursue jackpot wins.
The release was issued by Square in the Air on behalf of Playson, which operates across 25 regulated markets with more than 200 partners worldwide. The supplier holds licences from the UK Gambling Commission, ONJN, HGC, SGA, AGCO, GRA and MinCetur, along with a recognition notice from the MGA, and is headquartered in Malta and Slovakia.
