Playson launches King of the Sky: Hit the Bonus with dual bonus mechanic
Playson has released King of the Sky: Hit the Bonus, the latest instalment in its Hit the Bonus series, introducing a new Eagle's Bonus feature that pays out through both paylines and bonus symbols.
Digital games supplier Playson has released King of the Sky: Hit the Bonus, a new slot title that expands its Hit the Bonus series with an eagle-themed sky setting and an expanded bonus structure.
The game’s central feature, the Eagle’s Bonus, marks a first for the series by awarding wins through both traditional paylines and bonus symbol combinations. The bonus round is triggered when six or more Eagle symbols appear, or through combinations with matching Jackpot or Mystery icons.
Bonus features and jackpots
The title includes a Golden Bonus Game enhanced by random multipliers and Boost symbols, the latter collecting the value of all other symbols on the grid. Four in-game jackpots are built into the game, with top wins able to reach 1,000x stake.
Within the Eagle’s Bonus round, players start with three respins, with the counter resetting to three each time a new symbol lands. Filling the entire bonus grid triggers the Grand Jackpot, worth 1,000x, on top of any other winning combinations accumulated during the round.
An optional Ultra Bonus purchase feature is also available, offering increased multipliers and improved odds of landing jackpot wins.
Series expansion
King of the Sky: Hit the Bonus is Playson’s latest release in what the company describes as an active 2025 for new content, continuing its strategy of adding features to existing game families rather than launching standalone titles.
Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the release brings together multiple bonus symbol types, including mystery, boost, golden coin, sticky bonus and jackpot icons, and highlighted the visual design built around a stormy sky theme with lightning animation effects.
