Playson launches Golden Penny x1000 with scatter-pays and x1,000 multipliers

Playson has released Golden Penny x1000, a leprechaun-themed slot built around a rare scatter-pays mechanic on a 6x5 reelset, offering a maximum win of x20,000.

The game uses collapsing symbols in base play, with wins formed whenever eight matching symbols appear on the grid. The value of the symbols determines the payout, after which the winning cluster collapses and triggers a cascade.

Cascades can also generate Multiplier penny symbols worth up to x1,000. These accumulate throughout a win chain before being applied to the total payout for that round.

Free Spins and Bonus Buy options

A Free Spins Bonus is triggered by landing between four and six leprechaun Scatters, awarding up to 25 free spins. During this feature, stacking Multipliers that land during winning rounds are added to a Total Multiplier, which is then applied to the overall bonus win, contributing to the game’s x20,000 maximum win potential.

Players can also access two Bonus Buy options, including a Super Free Spins mode that offers Multiplier values ranging from x10 to x1,000.

Studio comment

Tamas Kusztos, chief commercial officer at Playson, said the release reflects the studio’s efforts to expand its portfolio with distinctive mechanics and themes designed to appeal to players, adding that the combination of visuals, folklore setting and high win potential should strengthen partners’ game offerings.
