Pragmatic Play adds Double Down After Split feature to blackjack range

Pragmatic Play has rolled out Double Down After Split, a new feature available across its full blackjack range, including its classic Blackjack, Speed Blackjack and Privé Lounge Blackjack titles.

The feature lets players split an initial pair and then double their bet on one or both of the resulting hands, giving them additional strategic choices during play.

According to the supplier, using Double Down After Split in line with basic strategy can lift the return to player on some blackjack variants to as high as 99.59%, reflecting the extra decision points the feature introduces.

Wider interface overhaul

The feature forms part of a broader update to the user interface across Pragmatic Play’s premium blackjack products. The refresh includes a redesigned look, a larger video display area and a simplified pre-decision flow intended to smooth out gameplay.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said the addition of Double Down After Split reflects the company’s aim of creating games that resonate with players, combining greater choice and improved odds with the updated interface and its live dealer studios.

The update applies to Pragmatic Play’s blackjack offering across the regulated markets in which the supplier operates.
