RMG and SIS extend LBO racing content deal to 2028
Racecourse Media Group and Sports Information Services have agreed to extend their distribution partnership for horseracing audio-visual and data content into UK and Irish betting shops until the end of 2028.
Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and Sports Information Services (SIS) have renewed their agreement covering the distribution and transmission of audio-visual and data content from RMG racecourses to licensed betting offices (LBOs) across the UK and Ireland.
Under the extension, announced on 7th March 2025, SIS will continue to supply LBOs with daily horseracing coverage from RMG’s portfolio of tracks. This includes Jockey Club courses such as Cheltenham, Aintree, Epsom Downs, Newmarket and Sandown Park, as well as independent racecourses including York, Goodwood and Ayr. The content will remain a core part of SIS’s retail betting output through to the end of 2028.
Long-running partnership
The renewed deal builds on an eight-year working relationship between the two organisations. Richard Ames, chief executive of SIS, said the extension reflected the strength of the collaboration built up over that period and the further three-year term secured through the new arrangement.
Nick Mills, chief executive of RMG, said the partnership would continue to focus on growing betting interest in RMG’s racing content within licensed betting offices. He noted that LBO revenue remains an important source of media rights income for the sport, and that the extended agreement increases the value of RMG’s content within the retail betting market.
