RubyPlay secures Ontario licence to grow North American footprint
B2B slots supplier RubyPlay has been granted an online gaming licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, extending its reach into Canada's regulated market.
RubyPlay, a B2B iGaming development studio, has been awarded an online gaming licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), announced on 24th February 2025.
The licence allows RubyPlay to supply its slot portfolio to operators licensed in Ontario, Canada’s second-largest province by population. Titles expected to become available to Ontario players include Immortal Ways Diamonds, Mayan Cache and Diamond Explosion 7s.
Part of wider North American push
The Ontario approval builds on RubyPlay’s recent entry into the New Jersey market, where its games went live through partnerships with Rush Street Interactive and FanDuel. The company said the Canadian licence marks a further step in its international growth strategy and strengthens its position in North America.
Dr Eyal Loz, Chief Product Officer at RubyPlay, said the company aims to make its game portfolio available to as many players as possible worldwide and described North America as a key growth market, adding that establishing a strong brand presence there is a priority.
