Wazdan enters Pennsylvania market via Rush Street Interactive tie-up

Wazdan has launched its games portfolio in Pennsylvania through a new partnership with Rush Street Interactive, Inc. (NYSE: RSI), marking the supplier’s first entry into the regulated state and a further step in its North American expansion.

The agreement, announced on 5 September 2024, sees Wazdan titles added to RSI’s BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse platforms. Players in Pennsylvania will now have access to Wazdan slots including 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Magic Spins and Hot Slot: 777 Crown, along with the developer’s signature mechanics such as Cash Infinity, Hold the Jackpot and Sticky to Infinity.

First partner in the state

RSI is Wazdan’s inaugural partner in Pennsylvania’s regulated online gaming market, following a period of growth for the supplier across North America.

Andrzej Hyla, chief commercial officer at Wazdan, described the launch as a significant milestone for the company, adding that its content continues to find an audience in the region and that further titles are planned for Pennsylvania players.

Richard Schwartz, chief executive officer at Rush Street Interactive, said the operator was pleased to introduce Wazdan’s games to its Pennsylvania customer base, citing the developer’s reputation for producing engaging content across its BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse brands.

The deal extends Wazdan’s presence across regulated US markets as part of its wider push into North America.
