Abelson Sports rolls out full goalscorer markets for NWSL
Abelson Sports has become the first data supplier to offer complete goalscorer pricing coverage across the National Women's Soccer League season, the company announced on 19 March 2025.
Abelson Sports, a sports betting data provider, says it is the first supplier to deliver full goalscorer pricing coverage for the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The new market will be made available to the company’s operator partners through its ODDS data solutions.
The expansion follows what the company describes as growing interest from US sportsbooks in women’s soccer betting, and extends its existing goalscorer pricing model to cover the entire NWSL season.
Building on women’s football portfolio
Abelson Sports already supplies player pricing data for major international women’s tournaments, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the English Women’s Super League. The NWSL addition builds on that existing coverage.
The company points to the NWSL’s growth since launching 12 years ago, noting it is now the top tier of women’s professional soccer in the United States. It highlighted a four-year broadcast deal worth $240 million covering the league, with CBS Sports, ESPN, Amazon Prime Video and Scripps Sports all set to air matches.
Abelson Sports also linked rising public interest in the sport to the performance of the US Women’s National Team at the 2024 Olympics, along with anticipation building towards Los Angeles hosting the Games in 2028.
Executive comment
Jeevan Jeyaratnam, Chief Betting Officer at Abelson Sports, said the company was proud to be first to market with complete goalscorer coverage for the NWSL, adding that the business remained focused on giving partners engaging betting markets as interest in women’s soccer continues to grow.
Abelson Sports was founded in 2003 to provide sports data to the bookmaking industry. It has since expanded into an ODDS division supporting its Football Player Markets product, alongside DATA and TECH services supplied to bookmakers, platform providers and media companies globally.
